Overview

The all-new portable RUBY 7 HD makes reading easier. Weighing only 510 grams, the 7-inch high-brightness screen and low starting magnification level of 2x provides easier orientation and a greater overview when reading from newspapers and magazines.

The unique PivotCam™ provides a wider range of viewing and usage options for spotting, reading, writing, enjoying hobbies, distance viewing, and even a mirror-image self-view. Simply reposition the camera to your own preferences.

Different coloured, tactile buttons are easy to locate and distinguish and the screen tilts to 40 degrees for a more comfortable position. For more fluent reading, activate the on-screen lines or masks.

At home, enjoy viewing from a larger screen by connecting with an HDMI television. Once connected, simply place the RUBY 7 HD over a newspaper or magazine, and the image appears on the your television set – effectively providing a larger screen area to read and view from.

PC users can also benefit. Using the snapshot facility, not only is it possible to pan around enlarged images, but archived screenshots can be uploaded to a PC (via the supplied USB cable) and viewed on the computer screen.

Standard Colour / Semi-Colour Modes for easier reading:

There are five factory default colour modes and 15 additional semi-colour modes that can be activated. Select the colour mode that best suit your visual needs, for example, yellow text against a black background:

• Full colour (natural image for viewing photographs)
• White text on Black background / Black on White
• Yellow on Black
• Yellow on Blue
